If you go to advanced settings you can change the download format from jpeg to png which gives you a transparent background to download instead.No editing needed yw 😊!

This is the first video that I have seen the vinyl snap part way through. My problem was I was unable to pick it back up again at the right spot and ended up unravel my design. I tried three times but got very frustrated with it. I might try again but make it a bit bigger this time.

I ruined my first run but realised why after watching a 2nd tutorial. I don't know how you could explain which tape to remove of the 2 cuts. Taking the outer piece didn't work but second time around I removed the strip on the inside of the outer piece. I hope this makes sense. I made a picture for my musician daughter because it looks like a vinyl/record. Great tutorial, thanks.

I loved that you showed the lines would break (your video was the only one I saw like this) also, I kept grabbing the wrong line….until you showed how it automatically starts pulling when removing the carrier sheet. I thought I was doing something wrong or my vinyl was crap. I was getting so frustrated ( after 6 tries). ❤️

Hello!! Unfortunately, permanent vinyl doesn't love sticking to canvas either. It's not an amazing idea! I would recommend doing this on a surface that you know FOR SURE will take the vinyl well. Like glass, paper, plastic, sanded wood, etc :)

You can use permanent vinyl on canvas, I've done it numerous times. Vinyl needs a surface to stick to, so mod podge or clear spray paint coated on it will definitely make a difference.

For HTV I wonder if you transfer it and then let it cool for awhile and then re heat it and let it sit the reg time and try to remove so it has more time to "cure" . hmmm

Great tutorial. My cricut stopped cutting part way into the project. The on/off switch was blinking red. I tried it twice and both times it stopped in the same place. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Every time I try to delete the background, I have to go through the image manually to delete it all. Also, I noticed when you clicked on Make It, I can see your picture but with mine, it's all black even with the deleted background. I can't see the picture of my daughter. Please I need HELP!!!!!! Every time I do a cut it gets to the center on the first cut and then once it gets ready to come back outwards it snags and the vinyl is pulled and my pictured is ruined. Yes! at time 5:50, pay attention to how I remove the background of the image :) That's the key!

If you look at the spiral real close, you'll see that the lines are not straight edged. Some lines are wider and uneven. It gives the effect of light and dark shades.

@@Lulu08ishThis happened to me. It's a sign that your spirals are too close together so it is not recognising the spiral, just adjust to fewer rings in spiral betty then try again.
