Hi Teagen. Back in 2021 a friend gave me a cricut. Unfortunately in the 2022 floods, it and most of my belongings were washed away or ruined. But I have come up with a couple of ways of making my own stencils. Like you I have used laminating pouches and drawn on them, or placed a pattern inbetween the pouch sheets and then cut them out. The other thing I've used is shrink plastic. If I find a pattern I like, but it's too large, I trace or print it onto shrink plastic, shrink it, then cut it out. I have a craft knife that is shaped like a pen that I like the best for cutting out fine details.

Wow that’s so cool! I’m so sorry about the floods but glad you were able to find some alternative ways to create your own stencils! It’s such a satisfying process to then be able to use something you made with your crafting 😊🥰
