Just made this and added a little xanthum gum for thickness….best sugar free chocolate sauce I’ve tested and tried. Thank you.

Just made this using erythritol (that's what I have) and its delicious, thanks!! I mixed it with some half-n-half (don't have heavy cream and I don't like chocolate almond milk) and water to make a "chocolate milk" and downed the thing like there was no tomorrow -- it was that good!! I'm in the middle of making the lavender syrup now to have later. Its 1 AM, that's how excited I am! I never thought to do a lavender syrup before so I'm excited to make this to have with my tea in the morning!

Can I try this recipe with erythritol instead of allulose?
@CrystalsCleanKitchen11 ай бұрын
You definitely can however, I would suggest blending the erythritol in the blender to make it powdered. It will taste a lot less gritty when you do that.

Thanks for watching. It can last a super long time. I’ve had it in a jar on my counter for over a month

Why not premix water & cocoa with an electric whisk before heating??

You could do that also

Can i use stevia instewd of allulose or swerve instead of allulose?
@CrystalsCleanKitchen11 ай бұрын
Yes, you could if you use a granulated sweetener, however, make sure to put it in your blender to make it a fine powder

Question I just made this exactly to your specs except the cocoa powder and I used Allulose but it taste like coco powder and I used Ghirardelli Premium 100% Cocoa Dutch-Process? Any suggestions? I'm wanting to use this for my lattes.
@CrystalsCleanKitchen Жыл бұрын
So you did everything the same except a different brand of cocoa powder? Do you think it would work if you add a little bit more Allulose and water to thin out the overpowering cocoa taste?
@cynthiaangrisani5877 Жыл бұрын
@@CrystalsCleanKitchen I did remake it and put a little less cocoa and a little more Allulose . I cooked it for less time on simmer and added salt after removing from heat, I forgot to put the salt in the first time. Read some tips on google search it says bitter can be caused by cooking too high a temperature for too long and or using cheap cocoa powder. The brand I used is considered a good respectable chocolate. Do they make cocoa powder in milk chocolate? The brand I bought I think it only comes in dark and this happen to be premium, unsweetened, Dutch dark cocoa powder? I've always preferred milk chocolate, so that's probably part of the problem for me besides the first batch was so bitter. Most if not all of the bitterness is gone, as per my husband taste tasting the second batch. My first batch I threw out. Thanks for your quick response and if you know anything about cocoa powder I'm wondering if it comes in a milk chocolate? Again thank you. I made the simple syrup with Allulose and it was perfect. Any suggestions I would appreciate your help.

@cynthiaangrisani5877 I will try to look it up. I’m not positive. I’ll also check to see what mine says I usually use a brand from. Costco so I’ll check that too

How many days can I store them in refrigerator? Any preservatives that needs to be added for longer shelf life?
@CrystalsCleanKitchen Жыл бұрын
It should be good for a few weeks in the refrigerator.

will this get frozen like choch bar if put in fridge? will it get expired?
@CrystalsCleanKitchen Жыл бұрын
I don’t remember. It should be fine but maybe just try it and find out. It will be good for a couple weeks on the counter. It’s hard for me to say an exact expiration time because I did not try it for a long period of time
