For own future reference 0:55 tempo 1:13 Kick, processing and rumble 4:49 making a 303 bass 7:23 adding width to the 303 bass 9:25 percussion 9:50 Will goes to answer the door (seriously) 10:36 Will comes back from answering the door (really) and makes percussion 11:50 ride cymbals 13:12 make kick and bass bigger with Drum Buss 13:43 Adam Beyer style chords to build tension, making a custom Operator preset 17:30 duplicating the chords in a piano 19:00 resampling the piano chord and duplicating 20:02 using EQ Eight formant shifters to alter the Operator preset, adding sidechain 20:58 adding Erosion for grit, grouping them into a pad 22:15 Auto Filter 22:54 vocal sample, making a loop out of it 24:50 processing the vocal sample with EQ Eight and Side Chain 25:45 Arrangement, using automation 27:15 changing from Minor to Major 28:30 adding reverb to the Group 30:18 random chord sample for variation 34:55 filtering the vocal 35:50 go back to Minor after the break, adding and removing parts for arrangement 37:10 finding a snare 39:00 drawing in automation to complete the song

NO, you can USE this template here, learn the techniques here, and create your own track in the style of Enrico. Because honestly, the basics of this track are just like Enrico's!

I love the techno vids. Having techno been how I started in electronic music way back in the 90s, I've often wondered if I should try to create some myself. I still love it after all these years. Great sets of videos you've been putting out. Keep it up man.

4:26 in this part, you had to put the signal in "pre fx" to be able to listen (although it takes the sound of the effect of the "kick" channel but without the reverb that you added) Excellent video, thank you very much. 🙌

I was really hoping to hear how you processed your vocal in the intro I love that effect but can't seem to get vocals to do that. Great video as always. All just using stock plugins. Cheers Will.

@@EDMTips Lately no artist in particular, I have dedicated myself more to production which is in fact a longstanding learning experience, for example, until recently I only knew that I had to pay attention to the master not to exceed the level and I will only go in 6 years of production , I have followed your videos and others in order to perfect the techniques, not so much to copy the style of others, but it can serve as inspiration of course, at the moment I have almost 80 works for sale, the publishers are not top, but I'm not worried about that, as long as I make the music I like .... Lots of dark rumbling techno nowadays with a bass that sits only in the low end, i have been making some high bpm dirty oldschool rave 303 techno and got stuck on how to fit all that crazy bass, stabs, hats and percussions in the high end of the mix coz the music is all about that massive energy coming right into your face If you are interested, check out some french masters like Dica or Pawlowski

@@EDMTips I think the color is ok. Only if u enlarge it would be dope ass. N u’ll be the first ever. Most r still using a tiny white arrow marker u barely see at all. Very annoying. U have to keep going back to figure out what the hell they did. It’s time consuming.

EDM Tips EDM Tips I’m using the big Ipad Pro. It’s impossible to follow on Iphone X, unless u already know the drill. I just watched pieces of ur Halloween Thriller. Sick tutorial🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮😷🤒🤕🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍. No Serum though. :( Btw almost no difference in cursor size, but in movement which is a whole lot better to follow than the very fast swifts on the tutorial above. I don’t have to go back at all on the Halloween video. Big improvement 🙌🏾😋. I think I’m gonna be a junky for ur tutorials. Adam Beyer here I come. Lol

Hey Will, do you know Björn (Bjoern) Torwellen? He is a german music producer and makes "dark" industrial techno. Heavy Bass, sadness and fear in his songs. Give it a try an listen to it :). Songs: Menschen Truemmer, Papa Legba, Technu. Very crazy is Batemans Bathroom and Shapeshifters. Also his videos to his songs are very weird.

I use cubase and I can normally replicate most methods in there but your first part where you created the rumble bass from the kick track has completely baffled me. Don't suppose you can do a video on the way that works? Are you recording a new kick from the original? I can buy that but when muted the kick, the rumble track stopped too...

@@EDMTips to be honest i dont stick to a single artist for favourites. I enjoy the genre of EDM and its plephora unique listening experiences through the music. But the two artist or groups that inspired me to do music production as a hobby is david guetta and swedish house mafia. But later down the line in the hobby, after seeing the details it takes to make a song click.. i have new found love for technically good mixed songs. Those that can blend different bases together and still keeping it fresh and clean :) EDM + disco never fails :)

@@EDMTips I've always been inspired how Sasha would take Indie tracks and build them into progressive (in the 90's meaning of progressive) tracks. Like Apparat (Involver 2), Sometimes I realise by the Engineers and Chained by the XX. Hope that gives you a bit of an idea! Cheers

@@EDMTips yes of course sorry ! What I meant by that is that you made 2 previous video about tech house in style of two artist which has their quite personal style in tech house. So I was asking if you could do a video of more basic tech house like Chelina Manuhutu or Hypnotize by used disco ! Only tech house rythme + vocals ! I hope it’s more specific!!
