I have been cooking for 50 years now and one thing I know: everyone cooks according to THEIR tastes and what works for them. There is no right or wrong because cooking is all about technique and taste. Unlike baking, which is more an exact science, cooking is more subjective. I use recipes as a base. I can then modify it to my own tastes. When people come on here and criticize the author because of his style or technique are just showing their own stupidity about what cooking is about. If you don't like the way he does something, then just don't do it that way for YOU. Keep the petty comments to yourself and just move along to another site that might care what you think.

Jeanette Armstrong? Who are you? The comment police? You can say what you want, but I can't? No doubt you are a democrat, that's their credo. If you been cookin for 50 years, I think you are senile already. So keep your petty comments to yourself and move along to another site that doesn't find your picture stupid looking.

Jeanette, so you've been cooking for 50 years? Everybody who eats cooks. The older you are the longer you have cooked. All you have proven is that you are very very old, not that you know anything about cooking... and baking is a science? OMG.

I never used sugar in my deviled eggs before, but I'm always open to new ideas. Tried it using this recipe, and it was great! Thankfully mine weren't quite as soupy as these, I like the yolk mixture a little stiffer without having to put them in the fridge. Don't knock something till you try it. Thanks for some nice, new recipes, Jay.

Good PhillyBoy. Good. I am enjoying these devil eggs. The ranch is a different twist and something I would have never thought to put in my deviled eggs. At the tasting part, I agree that more relish and sugar was needed. I'm curious to see what the seasoning salt will bring vs using the salt. PhillyBoy, I think you're going to enjoy this because its so easy and quick. Here is Patti Labelle' foolproof professional way to hard-cook eggs that cuts down on the actual boiling time to avoid cracking and overcooking. Place the eggs in a saucepan just large enough to hold them in one layer. Fill with enough cold water to cover by 1 inch. Bring to a gentle boil over high heat. Cook for 30 seconds. Remove from the stove and cover tightly. Let stand for 15 minutes. Pour out most of the water and place the pan in the sink. Let cold water run over the eggs for about 3 minutes. Crack and peel the eggs while still warm. Try it. You will never do it any other way.

Beeest recipe is put eggs in water cold tap water that covers them about 2 ta 3 inches of water, turn the heat on high until it boils turn the heat off and cover the pot with a lid for 10 an a half minutes and then put the eggs in an ice bath for about 10 more min or so and bam 💥 nice beautiful center to the egg and the ice bath makes the yolk easier to work with

Jay I just had to tell you again...I LOVE YOU. One of the reasons I love you so much is because I've seen some other videos of yours and I recall when someone hurt you really bad. Because you showed your vulnerability that made me love you so much. I also recall a video of yours when someone jumped you and robbed you and that hurt me SO much. I wished I could have been there to build you up and hug you so tight.....I really think you are so wonderful, kind and amazing. I really, really do love you so much. If you read some of my other comments, you'll see LEONA BANKS is not a sentimental person at all. But when it comes to you...I can't help it.

+Leona Banks Leona, I love him very much and just made a XMAS donation. People encourage him to open a restaurant but I say the risk of robbery is less with a cook book and companion video. Why is it when one of us does something good, another, like a crab in a barrel will try to pull him down?
