My favorite soup too even though I’ve only ever had canned! 👌💕 I am definitely trying this recipe, the secret I think is puréing the ingredients then adding cream and some of the whole mushrooms. I have to wait a few days though because my 17 year old refrigerator died yesterday and a new one won’t be delivered till Tuesday. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Consider adding the wine to the mushrooms in the skillet and let it reduce and the alcohol cook down. You'll get a richer and less bitter flavor than by adding it to the broth.

Great video! Adding thyme to mushrooms is new information for me, have to try it. Mushrooms are pretty much my favorite vegetable and for some weird reason I like how it feels to chop them in smaller pieces with a knife 🙂 I'm pretty normal....
