****My mom always had grits for breakfast, but it wasn't until I started cooking that I found this to be the easiest creamiest cheese grits recipe ever. Loaded with two types of cheese and a dash of garlic and other spices you can turn these grits into breakfast, lunch or a dinner side.

The Easiest Creamiest Cheese Grits Recipe Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cups Whole Milk
1 Cup water
3/4 Cup Grits
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
THIS IS HOW WE DO IT:
*In a medium sauce pan add milk, water, salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using) and paprika.
*Bring to a boil
*Add grits and whisk constantly until smooth
*Lower heat and cook 5 minutes or until thick and creamy
* Remove from heat
*Whisk in butter and cheese
*Garnish with additional cheese (optional)
