Ingredients:
1 bag of black eye peas
2 medium Onions red or white
2 tablespoon of tomato paste
Scallions
Habernero peppers...adjust to your liking
Chilli peppers 🌶
Salt to taste
Oil to fry

I 💕 your style of making it it's very simple and straight to the point. In senegal we add baking powder, onion, garlic,ginger, and sugar and blend it with the black eyed peas. I prefer your style because it's like how it's made in cassamance

In the Caribbean, we call it pholourie, made with split peas. The original recipe uses peas only, however, those who make it for sale, use a blend of peas and white flour. Cheap, but people seem to love it still.

This is how we (Sierra Leonean) makes our accra. Gambians didn't use to make there's like that till we the war in 99 when alot of us moved to The Gambia. We don't put water in ours tho.
