The fact that for a big part of my life I ignored my passion for being an artist, making music and being a dj, when I found myself in the hospital bed 2 years ago I promised myself I will, no matter what I will follow my passion. I failed myself the moment I suppressed my creativity. Don't you ever do that to yourself!

In selling my agency one piece of paperwork I failed to sign cost me £10k. Once I’d paid it back I knew I could bounce back from any financial mistake as I promised myself to get that back in my rainy day fund within 6 months and achieved it within 3.

I needed to see this. I have worked as an LPN for 30 years and feel a failure for not becoming an RN, although I tried in the last few years. I am a great nurse and truly care for others. I help people. I am not a failure. I am finding my way back from a deep depression. I MATTER.

One of the best videos I've seen covering this topic. I made $2M at 26 years old and lost most of it by 29 being dumb. 30 now & on the comeback but man has it been a struggle mentally lol. Partly because I tied my confidence to financial success.

I internalized fear, failure, not knowing and criticism. Little did I know all these were meant teach me to push harder, learn to trust in myself and go after what I needed to learn and don’t stop. To add insult to injury I believed them until I didn’t and don’t. You shared your challenges and are sharing your experiences to help others. Thank you. I wish I heard your words decades ago. Love the reply from the farmer, maybe, maybe not. Growth mindset is about being detached from the outcome. Thanks Simon for always challenging our mind to feed with new thoughtful questions to know ourselves better. 1. Who must I become to have what I want. 2. What is this teaching me. 3. What is the opportunity here.

I really love your video about life. In life, the failure is an event not identity. There is no beautiful roses everyday. We have many challenges. The reality is we are resilient and we don’t give up easily if our dream or desire is bigger than distractions/negative emo/failure. We need to shift our perspective. Ask the right questions who do we want to become? Clarity is power!
