Making it now! Changed up the veggies a little and used chicken broth instead of beef broth cause that's what I had on hand. Flavorful and delicious. Served it up over some egg noodles. The beauty here is that this soup is versatile and you can add what you like. Thanks for a superb recipe!

I have a pot of this in the fridge right now. But your list of spices gives me great ideas. I add carrots, and kale, and ofen add some. Potato is nice too. Most of the time I don't even add meat. It's still tasty with all veggies. I put a glug, glug of Worchester sauce. Never thought of tomato paste or beef broth. I love the suggestions of different spices as well. I smiled when I saw the type of. pot. I have and use a pot like that, just as my mother did.bSorry my eyesight isn't good, so please excuse any weird words.
