I'm new to baking, and I wanted to try making bread because it's healthier. Every recipe I tried either had too much flour or too less and my bread did nit turn out good. I gave up for a while but decided to give it another chance and followed your recipe and omg I was missing out. It is such a good recipe, not only does the bread taste amazing but it is just like any bread you'd find at the store (just better). Definitely try this out.

I used to stick to the traditional sourdough ( I have a really good starter) but it did not have sugar, oil or egg.. (Trying to be healthier) but I noticed the bread was more dense and not as good the next day. I started adding sugar and grapeseed oil and it was a big difference. It definitely makes a softer loaf. I will try the addition of an egg as well. I adore seeing US beautiful brown women making our food and breads. Thank you for sharing! I adore that glass bowl you have as well.

I have done this recipe twice (the second one with only 1 tb of sugar instead for 2 tb ) and both times came amazing!!. This lady nailed it! I have tried other recipes (maybe 3 from other sources)and even thought they came out good, this one came great!! It is the close one you can get to regular store bought bread without the extra preservantes. It is fluffy, but steady enough to make sandwiches. I love it!!

A year later I find your recipe and it makes the best bread. TIP: I sifted the flour first onto some wax paper before measuring. Tip I found-for the 1st rise place my bowl of dough covered in a pre-warmed dryer ( not hot ) for 1 hour. I’ve tried other recipes and my bread turned out heavy. Thanks for sharing 🙌🏽
