Just tried and LOVED the beef replacement recipe, the varying sizes of the mushroom really created that ground beef texture! I’ve usually done the soaked walnuts overnight method but this is so much quicker, you are the Alkaline Angel!

Yeah, mushrooms just work. Texture, look, and taste are almost always on point. I was one of the many pioneers of walnut meat, but I eventually realized there are better, tastier alternatives.
