How To Make The Worlds Best Plant Cloner!!! Why Didn't I Make This Sooner?

🌱 Welcome back to the channel, today I am going to be showing you how to make the worlds best plant cloner from a 5 gallon bucket and a few other items! This plant cloner has given me 95-100% success rate usually every time I used it to clone any of my favorite strains while I was growing previously!
This plant cloner is very beginner friendly when it comes to actually building it and using it. It's as simple as taking your clones the proper way and then placing them in this cloner and letting the cloner do the rest of the work for you while you sit back and watch the magic happen.
I'll go over everything you will need to make this cannabis or other plant cloner at home. This cloner is not only limited to cannabis plants but you can use it on pretty much any plant that you are trying to clone at home instead of having to go out and buy and or order expensive seeds, while risking not getting the strain you fell in love with!🌿👍

Yeah I want to say this setup building myself cost about $30-$40 tops. Most espies I’ve thing is the pump and you can cheap out with a $10 pump I’d just replace the pump every few months. Could potential my lose a bunch of clones if the cheap pump fails after being abused

Nice work, bud.👍 Been building my own aeroponic cloners for a while as well. The 5 gal bucket design was the first I ever used and still one I recommend/make for friends that need a way to clone that they can't screw up 😂 i usually avoid the PVC and just use half inch tubing to make a ring and connect that to a T that goes down to the pump. Easy peasy. Only thing I do besides that is put in a tiny plastic support piece to hold the tubing in place as the sprayers can push it down otherwise. It's pretty crazy to see just how well aeroponic cloning works, makes me want to switch over to aero from coco but I've yet to bite the bullet. Have you ever gone past the cloning stage with an aero setup?

I’m going to have to try that tubing idea one day that sounds like it’s a better idea than the pvc for sure. I have not ever gone passed cloning with aeroponics but I have been thinking about doing another plant with a new system. Maybe aeroponics will be the new one to try? If so I’d want to look around for a good system to possibly buy or make after. My RDWC was modeled after current cultures system and works awesome. Make sure to subscribe if you are t already though. I built the same one years ago and still use it but I added the small net pots with the bottoms cut out for the plugs and bought the manifold off ebay, I think the dude still sells the manifold on ebay,. Oh I also found if you put a timer on it and shut the pump off here and there they root a little faster however that will wear out the pump faster

I have tried it with a timer before and yes it did root faster but like you said at the time I had time to spare and didn’t want to burn out my pump! I’m pretty sure they still sell the manifolds online as I want to say I saw one recently listed online

Honestly it still works as it did when I built it. All I had to replace was the water pump. Truly a cheap alternative to the expensive cloners and works way better

The temps aren’t to bad with the pump inside the bucket. I’ve always done it with the pump inside and have always ran it for 24/7. But if you did want to run it on a timer that is 100% possible and will bring down temps if it was an issue where you lived. And yes if you wanted to put the pump externally you would be able to do that. You would just have to put the plumbing in place but totally possible as well! which pump do you prefere or what pressure and flow do you recommend?

For this setup you can get away with a cheap pump even like 35-50gph as you don’t need much. I think I myself have a 50gph pump. I run my misters 24/7 but some people have said they run theirs 15 minutes on 15 minutes off. Be sure to hit that subscribe button if you haven’t already. Do you use tap water? Is Water PH important here?

For the cloner yes water from the tap is what I use. I couldnt even tell you the ph of my tap water but that’s what I used for the clones nothing else. Make sure you scrape the lower portion of the cutting though. You want to scrape lightly just to get a little material off it’ll promote root growth in that location.

What type of micro sprayer did you use. 180 deg,360 deg? Where did you get yours from.

In my cloner I am currently using just a little 160gph pump. You don’t need anything crazy in the 5 gallon bucket cloner. Make sure you’re subscribed if you’re not already!

Taps your straight as possible but their Not like a drill so much if ya turn them a revolution or 2 loosen half 3/4 a turn it clears the chips it cuts more of problem in metal

Sprayers work but what data would make you say they are the worlds best cloners? Dwc with air stone roots faster and stronger then sprayers i have both

I have tried many different rooting methods. This cloner produces roots in 8 days with tap water and no rooting gel, clonex spray or even treating the mother before clones were taken. This cloner produces roots in 8 days with only tap water. I have videos and years of testing as data. Have you tried using an aero cloner yet for cloning? I only use aero for cloning haha

Try putting a little cocopeat, sphagnum moss or peat moss in a coke bottle cut the bottle so that the top fits into the bottom half, make it mildly damp, not wet or moist, now close the bottle with your clones in there, and leave it in there, closed, with just the bottle cap off, check for roots every 3 days as soo as you have roots its time for fertaliser (organic or chemical) its your choice... Grow your greens...

I would think so. You would be limited to one plant or possibly 4 but it would be a pain to keep filling once they started drinking a decent amount late veg early flower. But for a single plant yeah I’d say you could grow in the clone king why not it’s the same idea as dwc correct I’m not sure how they are setup just what they look like.
