Great, quick little seasonal project. Specially since it's another idea on how to use up scrap. Thank you for talking about "errors" that come up, even for those with experience. Always a good reminder that it almost never goes perfect, but it can still be corrected, or left as part of the character of the piece. Also liked the quick talk about different ideas on how to put it together. As always Max, great job.

Really neat tree. I made one following your method except I made a backer out of thin plywood, maybe 1/8" thick. After I cut the tree out and put it together, I traced it out on the plywood, then redrew it about 1/4" inside the line I traced. I cut this out on the scroll saw and it fit just inside the outline of the tree. I glued and pin nailed it together from the back. Worked great! Thanks for the idea!

Awesome work! I highly recommend get some CA Glue and activator for holding stuff together while wood glue dries as well as putting those stars on. Stuff is magic. Keep making videos man. You have awesome ideas.

If you place the brad nailer or pin gun closer to the front edge of board and angle slightly to the back side; as long as the nail isn't too long; it should go in without busting out. In other words; a brad nail or pin going in at an angle tends to go at that angle. But if you try shooting it straight down from the center of the board; it can go in either direction and have better chance of busting out.
