I always try my best to continue to improve my English and a lot of native English speakers have told me that not only do they feel that I have good English but because of my mindset to always look for improvement, they said that I will surpass many native English speakers just because many of them are already content with the vocabulary that they have at their disposal and so they stay there, in contrast to me who always look to learn more. Plus, I'm not surrounded by people that speak my target languages and I ask myself "should I learn skills that are more worth it? Is my passion "stupid" compared to others?" Many times I say to myself that I've not been able to make a living from my hobbies and passions. Often I even neglect my passions because I reckon others to be more "useful". I come back to this video every time I feel demotivated in my journey of learning Italian as a french person… I used to consider myself as someone very messy and inconsistent, but the truth is you can always create a new identity for yourself !
