seems quite difficult though, no?

@@tryden3687 Yes, it is difficult. I've been learning English like a kid now. Start with the easiest words, and I visualized it, imagine how it works in motion. So the word comes out of my mouth naturally. I don't speak it, I express myself through it.
@yoboi267

even if you just tie a word to the translation, eventually when a strong enough association between the words is formed the foreign word will start to take a direct association with the idea itself.

I have the premium version after over a year of using Busuu for free. Totally recommend! Also Memrise is a great vocab memorizing tool. If some video turn out so hard, I'll just watch with subtitles, learn new words and again start watching. Ruri uses a very easy vocabulary(in this video) and not swallow a lot of words like native speakers and it makes her videos comfortable for listening.

I know how to speak 3 languages and a few Chinese dialects, which is common among the people here. I had learned Japanese and French before, but as there is no one to speak, I had forgotten most of what I learned over the years. I will tried your way to relearn Japanese and French. Have not watch any of your video for the past 1 year... all the best to you for your study in Germany, cheers

I'm trying to figure out the best way/method that works for me for learning the Polish language (my family's native language). My main goal is to be able to communicate with my relatives in Poland, so I want to focus on learning conversational words & phrases. I live in Canada so it's not a common language to learn here or find materials for. Thankfully, my aunt in Poland will be sending me some books that might be helpful in my Polish language learning journey.

Hi Ruri, I’m a Chinese girl living in Japan trying to learn Italian by myself. I know that having a lot of input is very important but what do you say about listening to the same content for 10 times, 20 or even more according to many polyglots’ opinion. I wonder if you are doing this although I doubt it because you may get bored soon listening to the same thing all the time. ;) Have a nice day and take care.

Wow Ruri I understood your whole video i don't know how but I've followed your tips and they've been very useful for me, the English language is my second language and I love it and for that reason, I have learned a lot of this language doing input and also reading and watching series and videos. I've been learning for one year and like five months and practically I understand pretty well, thanks Ruru for encouraging us to learn another language I love you 🥰 greetings from Colombia !

Since I am studying Japanese studies, I do prefer to use Japanese textbooks such as Genki or jisho than apps for learning Japanese - it is really helpful and so much fun at the same time. Also, I am watching Japanese videos on KZbin to gain as much knowledge as possible. I’m with grammar books, but everybody of course uses different learning techniques.
