Jon, thank you. I don't have a lathe, but used my C claps to hold 2 drills in place placed the piece of wood between them and set the drills on slow speed and a small piece of 2x6 screwed to platform for guide. Fixed the drills to on and made a wood walking cane from old piece of 2x4. Works great

I've used this exact technique to make door and drawer handles. Try copper and red oak. It is a great look.

Well I never dreamed I would say this, but those are some beautiful push up bars, Jon :>).

They look great! I’m not familiar with the concept of these. Makes sense though, because one of my wrists does hurt when I do regular push ups. Good video!

Very cool. Have you ever made an aquarium stand? Is that something you might consider doing in the future as a video?

Jon, excelent idea. Try to imagine that I was looking for that kind of staff and I found it in the shop...Why I did not make them by myself ? Who want to buy my old Pushup bars ?

Shiny push up bars look good, but they would be slippery too especially during workout when you sweat. Good job though, as always.

strips of mouse pad on the bottoms?
@MFunkibut7 жыл бұрын
Maybe Jon could do a 2 minute video update if he decides the bottoms are 'slippy' and need a little extra grip. Might use up some mouse pads. Might just go grip tape. Or he might not need anything....

never noticed before, you've got big hands, would not like a slap from them. lol

Holy hell, I cringed in my seat when you (router) chamfered the edges of that wood... held in your hand. (not criticizing... just cringing)
