An estimated 55 million meetings happen at workplaces across the nation every day. One study shows nine out of 10 employees admit to daydreaming during meetings. In another survey, 47 percent said having to attend too many meetings is the No. 1 time waster. This is why I often get envious of labor workers.... Plumbers, electricians, chefs, etc... Workers who are moving and working and getting their work done. Where as working in an office and stuck in all day meetings, what are you really accomplishing?

As someone who works in an office, you are accomplishing a goal set out by your team. You are given a time table to get it done and then you move on to the next project. Unlike electricians who do repetitive work, our jobs involve deeper analysis of a problem and working towards a bigger role. I am not trying to downplay what trade skilled workers do but to have this idea that we all sit in our chairs and are bored out of our minds is a few decades old.

Because people's mannerism, looks, sexual orientation should dictate how great of a scholar they are? Or how seriously people should take them? Kind of a pathetic way to see the world.
