All great points for increasing employee productivity. I am a very big believer in cross-training so glad that you mentioned that. Having written processes for all tasks that anyone can follow is also a very big component of productivity as well.

Delegate Accordingly is a key -- Give someone the wrong task-- trouble! Feedback sessions are a great idea too ! Cross training helps as well!

Absolutely! Delegating to each persons strengths and knowledge can only help productivity:) Thanks for watching, Cheers!

@@AdrianaGirdler : Completely wrong. You are playing unfair by assigning more work to those with more expertise and letting others with less expertise enjoy less work. Employees should be assigned tasks, regardless if they have expertise or strength in certain tasks. You can only grow if you are assigned tasks that you have never worked on before.

How often do the company/organization should check on their employee's productivity?
@AdrianaGirdler2 жыл бұрын
This is a loaded question. I don’t believe in monitoring peoples productivity. there are so many variables to consider and It can create a culture of distrust. I believe in the quality of the end result and being able to get things done in a more effective and efficient way. If quality output is high in a reasonable time….excellent. If quality output is low in a reasonable or unreasonable time then monitor why this is happening. Are people overloaded with work, are expectations too high, etc… the only monitoring of tasks that I would ever agree too is on a production line and activities are done by machines.
@snehavora3507 Жыл бұрын
If employees get their work completed ahead of time, then employers should also allow employees to take PTO or expect less productivity on some other days! For example, if I am expected to produce 20 widgets in 8 hours per day and I end up producing 30 widgets in 8 hours, then I should be allowed to produce 10 widgets the following day and still charge 8-hours. The problem is employers are wanting "free labor" from employees!

Boosting employee productivity is possible with TMetric software as it's exactly designed to help achieve greater results, improve efficiency and prevent bottlenecks in the workflow. Work hours and activity are recorded with TMetric and team members tend to be productive.
