In karate when do you learn grappling?
@TheKarateShrimp
@TheKarateShrimp Жыл бұрын
I didn't learn in karate. I trained in Japanese Jujitsu as well. I mention this in the video. As for other karate dojos, you'd need to ask if they teach ground fighting.

So I have a question how long have you trained BJJ and Karate? Does the school you go to teach both or do you go to two different gyms
@TheKarateShrimp
@TheKarateShrimp 10 ай бұрын
I started in 2017. I trained in three martial arts at the same dojo: Meibukan Goju-Ryu karate, Ryukyu Kobudo Tesshinkan, and Japanese Jujitsu. I ended up leaving that dojo. Here's a video on why. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4S5o2qbra2ZZ6c I train at home now. The BJJ stuff, we did some for fun during Japanese Jujitsu class. I've never trained in BJJ formally.

@TheKarateShrimp Wow after watching that video all I can say is wow. I'm surprised you still represent karate and hold no bad feelings good for you. I'm glad also that you have the courage to talk to therapist I know people look down on that but I'm a life Skill coach and even I talk to a therapist sometimes we need that other person other perspective. Hopefully you find a dojo soon if I may suggest try mma I started out in Tae Kwon do but mma really push me that aggression really takes your mind and skills to the next level. Your awesome keep smiling and don't stop kicking. I run a non profit mma gym myself and if your ever in indiana feel free to stop in anytime
