This is a gorgeous wonderful pattern I did add a few more rows of single crochet before starting the pretty lower part of the pattern just to give myself a little more lift and support. Decided to make the bottom part with love knots instead of your pattern. I've a belly, so the fluffy knots (I hope) will distract from it. I love the way this is turning out. white with pink trim. and bought some pink ribbon for the tie at the waist. Very girly and feminine looking. Loving it. Thank you for sharing!

Making this rn. I will update how long it takes me as someone that knows how to crochet but never actually took on a big challenge like this. Day 1. Finished 1 cup Day 2. I finished the other cup and put them together I'm currently at row 2 of chaining 5's I'm not doing the 7dc as I want mine without those. Day 3. I'm half way done with the lower part. Day 4. I finsihed most part of it I changed colours but other then that didn't have much time today Day 5. I did do a different edge detail and did my straps in a different way but this tutorial was so easy to follow and the result is so cute I love it!

Edit: don't used 4 weight ACRYLIC. I think my problem was I used acrylic instead of a more delicate fiber I did this and I'd recommend using a 3 weight yarn instead of a 4 weight. Dunno how she got these results with a 4 weight but mine ended up being too stiff and chunky for my liking. I wanted something a little more flowy and delicate. I still really enjoyed this pattern and will be doing it again! But with 3 weight yarn

Yarn type is important, I find caron simply soft to be the perfect yarn for any top cause it's soft and flexible for myself. Yarn tension is equally as important

@Adrian-qk9jh mmmm perhaps my yarn choice was poor. I've been crocheting for years now and I think I have my tension down right for just like standard stuff but i haven't had to adjust my tension for different projects much. Perhaps I just need to be looser than I'm used to with this project.

Fiber makes a HUGE difference. I'm using a 4 weight cotton/bamboo fiber that's perfect, but acrylics & other fibers will be different. I tend to avoid acrylic because I always misjudge how the yarn will drape & generally don't like the feel.

not me using the thinnest recycled yarn I have (because I think the colour would be great for this project) but as it is so thin I need to use a much smaller hook 1/2.70 mm to be exact and now I need to adjust everything seeing as chaining 15 will barely cover anything XD

Thank you!! Idk what they’re called exactly but I bought them at Michaels about a year ago. I prefer these over the clasp markers bc I hate opening them up, when these just slide in and out of the stitch super easy.
