I’d say Canada 2011 was the best race I’ve witnessed. With all the stops and safety cars due to accidents or bad weather. After hours of waiting and racing, there was the most intense last lap battle between Vettel and Button where he managed to force Vettel into a mistake to come home with the victory. I’m sure many people agree that this was an all time classic!

To me, the most memorable F1 race is 2008 Canadian GP and the only Robert Kubica's win. As a little boy I was a big fan of Robert. I'm from Poland and that was so exciting to see Robert on track. This rollercoaster and this memorable crash between Lewis and Kimi in pitlane is truly unforgotten to me. Especially after this horrendous Robert's crash, it is so sentimental, moving and memorable to me.

My most memorable race was the 1973 Canadian Grand Prix. I was 7 years old, and already obsessed with F1. I remember having an F1 board game, and a little pedal powered Ferrari that I use to drive around neighborhood. When my parents told me we were driving up to Canada to attend the race, I was over the moon! It was a long drive from where we lived in New York, but I would have gone anywhere, or done anything, to see a race in person. My mom's side of the family is from Scotland, and talked about Jackie Stewart constantly, so he became my favorite driver, but all the drivers were hero's to me, and the thought of seeing them in real life was almost as exciting as Christmas morning!! A day of two before the race, we were walking through the paddock, Scottish flag in hand, when my grandmother spotted Jackie being interviewed. We headed in that direction in hope of saying hello and wishing him well in the race. While Jackie was being interviewed, he looked over at me and waved hello and smiled. There were thousands of people milling about, but Jackie Stewart waved and smiled at ME!!!! I was so overcome with joy, that I began crying. Jackie was pulled away immediately after the interview, so I never got a chance to talk to him, though I suspect I would have been too awestruck to even get a word out. Even though I missed my chance of meeting Jackie, It was still one of the most happiest days I ever had as a kid.

Brazil 2012 must be the most memorable. Because: A championship decider on last round, podium finisher Alonso loses it while Sebastian fights from virtually the last, Schumacher retiring, many incidents, McLaren last win to date and it had enough live coverage+video to make it reach to wide audiences.

Most memorable race for me used to be Imola 2004 for the Schumacher vs Montoya battle. It was very recently overtaken by Turkey 2020. That race had everything...classic track with an incredible layout, wheel to wheel battles in the wet, and appreciating the talent of drivers like Lewis and Perez to manage their tyres to the point where their inters were worn down to slicks and they were still able to find grip on the slippery surface.

Great question. So many to choose from. But the one that comes to mind has to be that Canadian GP back in 2011 or '12 where after lots of crashes and S.C's and getting cancelled for some 2+- hours he managed to get the victory. Now imagine at the time living in Greece and with the time difference how much of an effort it was to watch the race. And of course that was him two years after that surprise WC with the then BAR Honda , which later became your team Nico Mercedes GP, and unfortunately the last times you'd see a competitive McLaren team. By the way. Nico I love the concept and content of your channel because despite the fact that communication at least to me is that face 2 face contact and the body language itself, never the less you use your knowledge and that tool so exceptionally well that gives me the chance to say thumbs up for what you do. Keep it up Nico.

Most memorable F1 race for me was Canada 2011. A lot of F1 races are same old same old, Canada had everything. Weather, crashes, team mates colliding and then the final few laps. To have someone who was running last to end up winning on the last lap is rare, for them to be able to drive on slicks in the wet just shows how good these F1 drivers are. They make driving and controlling a car look easy. That race for me was like watching a last minute 35 yard goal to win the game after being 0-3 down at half time.

First video of yours I've ever seen. I was looking for tips for Bahrain for sim driving and I've heard your name before as a very famous F1 driver so of course I wanted to see. This video was both everything I expected and yet also nothing I could have expected. So cool of you to take fan questions and that you commit fully to pronouncing your fans' names when in my experience people would stutter through anything foreign to them. I regret not being an F1 fan sooner to see some of the moments you talked about here! I have trouble keeping grip on a few of the corner exits and I learned a few things from the video and some overtaking ideas..

My favorite F1 race of all time is Hockenheim (2000). Michael Schumacher was out of the race early (his 3rd DNF in a row) and was going to lose a lot towards his rivals. Barrichello was starting from 17th place. In changeable weather and at times a complex (partially-wet) track Barrichello fought his way to the front and landed his first ever F1 race win. It was so exciting to see a low-downforce, high-speed circuit with lots of tense racing and overtaking, and not only that we got plenty of on-board action hearing the beautiful sound of the naturally aspirated engines singing. Barrichello's race win was great for him personally but also great for Michael's championship hopes. For so many reasons this is my all-time favorite F1 race!

Great video! Although I have seen many F1 races on TV, and have enjoyed both Long Beach F1 and Phoenix, Iceberg GP in person; my favorite F1 race of all time is 1984 Monaco. Senna starting grid #13 in an underpowered Tolman Hart, in the worst rain conditions, on a hard to pass track, takes it to the likes of: your pops, Warwick, Tambay, Piquet, Alboreto, Lauda, Mansell, Arnoux and eventually Prost only to have the race taken away from him giving Senna 2nd place. Prost complained of dangerous conditions when he was passed by Senna and F1 gave the race to Prost. This race gives me the chills to this day when watching and made me an F1 fan.

1984 Portuguese Grand Prix. Niki Lauda battles his teammate Alain Prost in the last race of the season. Prost qualified 2nd alongside Piquet, who collected his 9th pole of the season, while Lauda was 11th on the grid. Lauda climbed up to 3rd after passing Ayrton Senna, who had qualified 3rd in a Toleman. Piquet had fallen away, so Prost was leading, with Nigel Mansell second in his last race for Lotus before moving to Williams. Mansell retired due to persistent brake problems, and Lauda moved up to second, ensuring his third World Championship. Prost won McLaren's 7th consecutive victory and 12th of 16 races, whilst Lauda finished second, a mere half point in front of Prost in the championship, a record margin that has not been matched since.

Beat F1 Race to me was Suzuka 2000, when Michael Schumacher Scores his first Ferrari WDC. There were not special overtakes or spectacular shunts but the sheer racecraft of him and Mika Hakkinen was so impressive. Both drove on sich’s. High level without any mistakes and stayed only a few seconds apart through the entire race. That was driving perfection to me and therefore is my most impressive F1 race.

I could think a lot of races that have burnt into my brain, lots of crashes, crazy rain races, spectacular first wins, etc. But the race I would point out is the 1998 Hungarian Grand Prix and the reason is that it really showcased the future to come for the next half a decade: the trio of Michael Schumacher, Ross Brawn and Jean Todt working in unison and betting all the strategy on Michael's abilities. Schumacher was virtually running qualifying laps every lap throughout the race with (if I remember correctly) three pit stops - when everyone else was going with one or two - so he could collect as much advantage to undercut Mika at stops. Ferrari was at a turning point at the time, the McLarens seemed unbeatable in the first part of the season and the fact that Ferrari could pull off this spectacular win by masterminding the strategy with the slightly inferior car and putting all their money on Michael's skills is just a stuff of genius and showed why they all deserved the tremendous success they achieved in the following years.

Hey Nico, are you gonna drive that Mercedes? Lewis's seat is temporarily available. Will you?
@robertr79233 жыл бұрын
He can't even if he wanted too. He has been 4 years out of f1 without racing. The cars have changed too much for him to be competive and his superlicence is probably expired.

@@robertr7923 I agree with you. And it requires 300KM of F1 test drive in 2020 before you are allowed to race.

I was coming to learn about F1 like I already did few times before.. but tbh... Nico is SOO good.. Im just admiring how he's driving, I want to learn, but there are so many steps between nico and me, the skillgap is too big.. I just admire Nico driving.. its amazing... ty Nico.. I really like the vids.. I do learn btw... got really lot of time of laps... but nowhere close to Nico's times. My most memorable race was Australia, its was 2018 my first F1, I struggled on some points.. I went to see the real Ferrari driving australia, when I came back, I got 4 seconds off.. that feeling was sooo good, I felt like I was feeling the race I had just seen on KZbin a few times, I was totaly in the flow

for me is 1991 brazil because after so many failed attempts finaly, Ayrton win the race and the emotions from the team radio all up to the podium is just amazing for me. So this is my most memorable f1 race !! 1991 BRAZIL

For me it’s Canada 2011, as a boy I was a massive Jenson Button fan so to see him go from p20, boxing 6 times and then winning it on the last lap will always make it my favourite race of all time

Most nemorable race, i would say brazil 2008 with the champion being declared in the final corner (and as a tifosi, it still gives me nightmares😁) And, undoubtely, imola 1994, but for all the wrong reasons

Most memorable race for me was Damon Hills championship win in Japan 1996. I watched F1 with my late father, who took me to Silverstone that year and when Murray said he had to stop for the lump in his throat he wasn’t the only one. I was four at the time and I will never forget hearing those words! I wish could still watch F1 with my father but in a way I still do. I really wish he was here.

Alright I'm gonna try this cause I really want a gift. Everyone nowadays talks so much on how the sport is boring, there aren't enough overtake, there isn't any risk. People are saying it's a boring sport. I remember well once when Bernie was talking to Jeremy Clarkson. The two were in a Renault Megan in Monaco and Jeremy asked "what are they looking for?". Bernie replied "a crash". F1 is not a sport to watch, it's a sport to feel. A sport to embrace and to emphasize with. It's called the circus yes but what a circus itself. Thousands of million on the bet, Team principal working everyday to get their strategy and managing style right, a pit wall where hundreds of time-lapse and data are collected and analyzed on the spot, the pit stop agonized by the second in which they will hear "go go go" and performe in a few seconds. The drivers. Young, brave, alone. Burned everyday by the dream of the pole position and the suit wet from the champagne, these guys drive at the peak of the four wheel technology. Alone. They drive, they overtake, they crush and they win. F1 has enormous and forever lasting drivers and moments, but F1 itself, the narrative within each race, is the most memorable and emotional sport I, personally, ever loved. Thank you guys. PS: sorry for any grammar mistakes but English isn't my first language. I can already see the comments saying "bullshit" but this was more of an emotional and personal share of what I see in F1. Sorry if didn't directly answer the question in case but I did really want to share this thought with the community, love to all and stay well.

Any chance you do these kind of analysis for all the tracks in the F1 game? Also great job on the channel. It’s always awesome to check out these vids cause for me it’s my favorite f1 driver of all time showing tips and tricks

Monza 1999. Häkkinen throwing his gloves, crying in the park and runnig along the outside of the track. Just tells the wole story of the season. As a Finn I was naturally cheering for Häkkinen and I remember those 1997 - 2001 seasons pretty vividly. But in Monza 1999 we saw a rare moment Hakkinen loosing his cool and it was such a heartbreak. That season was full of drama. Unfortunately it wasn't close between Shumi and Hakkinen but still produced a exciting season.
