A brilliant and really common sensical video. I've got your planner etc and now know how to use it properly..thankyou so much. I've recently found your channel as I've become vegan in the last month for health and weight loss reasons and your recipes are just what I needed..again thankyou. Yes please to videos of beans/pulses etc as I would rather use dried than tinned..and here's to a successful and tasty togetherness with like minded starch solutioners!!! Love from Chris in Kent

Thank for this this really helpful video. I really like the 50/50 question on the meal plan. I’m still at the point trying to figure out the starch solution recipes as even though I’ve tried vegan several times the starch solution is new for me. Off topic, but your house plants are really pretty and I was wondering what the beautiful purple one is? I really love your videos and am working through all of them, very helpful and informative. Thank you, Linda

You are so welcome! Welcome Linda! I am house plant crazy (I needed a bigger house!) The purple plant is an Oxalis, it is one of my faves! I grew it from a bulb I bought on Ebay! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxalis_triangularis

Such a helpful video! Thanks for sharing! I live in the Northwest in the US, and I am so fortunate to have several chain grocery stores, as well as natural food stores, within a 5 mile radius. Unfortunately, prices have been going up in all of them!

Have just started binge watching your content and am hooked! Would love to see a video about pre cooking and storing dried beans and lentils please. Also, some advice on going to a restaurant where there are no suitable choices. I'm going for an Afternoon Tea soon. Would it really set me back if I fell off the Starch Solution wagon for one meal? Loving your videos. Please keep them coming 🙂
@WholeheartedVegan2 жыл бұрын
hey ally! so nice to 'meet' you! Thank you for your kind support of my channel! 💜 I will certainly make a beans video, it is on the list, so don't worry it's on the way! I love video suggestions! oooooooo Afternoon Tea, how nice, of course one meal won't effect the long term goal, enjoy it! I am in the UK, and more and more places do a Vegan afternoon tea now, which is so amazing to see! 👏😀😎

I have been wondering if cooking legumes from scratch is actually a money saver (if you don't own an Instant Pot or similar) when you factor in the crazy cost of electricity, given that they have to cook for so long on the stove?
@WholeheartedVegan Жыл бұрын
Yes - that is a consideration these days, good point. I use a mix of both these days
@Equinox1.5 Жыл бұрын
@@WholeheartedVegan It's so much easier to use tinned beans, even though I think home-cooked legumes are probably nicer.
