I would like to see how you accommodated the extra length you required on the actual pattern pieces. My side waist is longer, but I am taller also. So I'm having trouble knowing how to add for the side length and how to add for the torso length...because I think they will be two different adjustments. Any help with this would be really appreciated before I 'wing it'. Thanks. Dawne

This was SO helpful. Now, do you have any tutorials to show to to alter the pattern for a different length side waist? And how do you know what the side waist measurement is on the pattern? Will the pattern say? Example, the bodysuit you mention, does the pattern say what length side waist it is for?

yes, the patterns mention this information on the instructions part. If you join our Facebook community, we actually have sew alongs for most of our patterns where we go more in depth on how to cut and such! its super fun!!

I would read over my pattern info first before cutting. usually all the information is in the instruction part of the pattern ❤️ on the actual pattern though, there are lines that show where to cut to add or subtract from!

Got it and this is an adjustment I would forget to do. Now I have a list of checks to do. But one thing that has been happening to me is the arm pit area is too high. How do you figure what your arm hole should be to fit comfortably compared to a pattern you have?
