How wonderful and refreshing to hear someone in the non-duality space talking about the importance of meditation practice on the path to realization.

I am 16 years young boy, I was watching your last video "gateway of awareness" while eating but suddenly after few seconds I felt something that can only be feel, my mouth just stopped at the very moment, I felt like a sense of being here in the present and peace without or very much less thoughts (not very strong feeling but I think much strong than I ever remember) I don't know this is because of you or ur voice or eyes, OR because of something else but after this all happened I felt like a sense of LOVE or maybe attraction towards you But if I will have a chance to meet you in future then I'll definitely try to meet u personally and give u hug ❤ Thanks, I❤U (sorry for my english and sorry if I accidentally wrote something that u don't like🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏) I LOVE ❤❤ YOU so much

@@TejasBhardwaj-u1v It is not love or attraction, it is a recognition of your true self. There is no person here, you are just seeing yourself.

Regarding sleep. A 20 minute nap before sitting can work wonders sometimes. I tend to get a strong build up kundalini in the head when I sit and it pulls me towards sleep. Like the mind wants to pop in to sleep and then pop out. I just build this into my sit time - letting the mind dip into sleep or do whatever it wants to do. It will clear and things will deepen from there. Great video. Thank you for sharing.

For a time, we walked together on the path But it wasn't really walking, and there wasn't really a path Still, there was a sense of journey, arriving at where we already are. A moment in time; a taste of eternity.

With the Zen background...meditating 12 hrs a day for 7 days (sesshin)...the thinking mind would disappear...but not the held assumptions that are part of the belief system. But it was fertile ground for those assumptions to fall apart. The portal into stillness became second nature...so that it is seen that stillness is always here as the base...but what are the truths that can become apparent here as well...Stillness by itself isn't enough...as one Zen teacher noted about Samadhi practitioners...calling them "stupid saints"!?
