🧶 Welcome to Slay Your Crochet! In today's video, I'm sharing a step-by-step guide on how to mend a beloved crochet blanket that might have seen a little too much love over the years. Don't worry; I've got your back! In this video I am going to be showing you how I mend granny squares that are damaged within a completed blanket.
I repair heirloom crochet for customers and this one was really well loved and has required a lot of repairs.
🌟 Whether it's a cherished family heirloom, a gift from a dear friend, or simply a blanket that's kept you warm on countless cozy nights, I understand the sentimental value of these crochet treasures. With a little TLC and some yarn magic, you can restore it to its former glory.
🧵 You will need a crochet hook and yarn that matches the guage of the blanket (I size down a hook size because I know my tension is looser than the original crocheter) and a darning needle and scissors.
