Great video, I had a fairly specific question im gonna be attempting to make a horror based clay sculpt for an album cover, I wanna do a wall of faces that are being twisted and distorted, would you say it would be beneficial to use tin foil and layer clay on top and sculpt from there, or like in the video make a face and almost puzzle piece them together to fill a space

very nice ^^, Im pretty new to painting clay so I when I started painting with acryl paints you could see the brush texture on the surface and I wonder is it because of the brushes or is there a way to fix it ?

Hi Tobias. It could be several reasons - either the brushes or the paints. I I prefer to use softer brushes, rather than coarse ones. You can also experiment with sponges. Also the consistency and level of pigment in your paint plays a part. Cheaper brands usually don't have a high level of pigment and it will take more layers to get a full coverage - this can leave brush marks. My favorite brand is GOLDEN 😊

FIMO air light is a great beginners clay :) and so satisfying how you have an instant result by drying it in the microwave.

You can only use this brand in the microwave

This brand is specifically developed to be baked in the microwave. Baking it in the oven would make it dry faster on the outside than on the inside, a common cause for cracking. The same is true for all brands of air dry clay I have come across. Generally the slower you allow it to dry, the easier it is to prevent cracks.
