I did use steering clamp ram bold RAM-B-367U and origional clamp nearbij left mirror , so i have 2 position of choice for my zumo xt no camel braket needed to support the origional carier

What did you use for the vibration protection? Did that come with the unit?

No it didn‘t come with the package. I had some sponge rubber at home but I think it‘s not hard to get. :)

Glad you asked!!! I've a 2023 crf1100, had a mechanic fit it....touratech mounting bracket and the secure locking mount! Even on a tarmac road it bounces so much I can see it damaging the tft screen due to vibration! I got some sponge strips, but mechanic has ordered some thick almost rubber type stuff with an adhesive side! Should sort it! Personally I'm shocked touratech hasn't addressed this and given a solution in the pack!
