Done similar with my pick up truck. Usually on sheds there are 4x4s on the bottom of the actual floor framing. I jacked the front up with my floor Jack high enough to wrap my chain around the 4x4s and looped it around my trailer hitch and boom! I’m gone! Worked great to move about 150 feet. Turned well and when to the area I wanted, re-jacked it, removed the chain, blocked the front. Then moved to the back and jacked it to level with front blocked it and done. No damage. Less than 10 minutes start to finish. Nice job man. You got it where ya wanted it!

I did it Google search how to move a shed with a snowplow and didn't find it, but I did find this channel. This is my exact idea how you are chaining it up. The only differences is I am going to connect the chains to my snowplow and try to lift the shed up and back the truck up pulling it. Like the skid plates good job.

My 12x20 (3000lb) shed sits on 15 3" metal pipes and I need to move shed to build a shop. My plan was to tear the shed down later to reuse the lumber for the new shop. I do have to remove all my belongings to make it as light as possible. I have a 12,000lb badlands winch I can use plus a few bottle jacks. I also have a small Kubota l2501 I can use. Oh my, this was exactly what I needed to see. Have an older 10x12 shed that needs moved about 50 yds in the next couple months to be repurposed as a chicken coop, but pretty hilly/rough ground in spots and tightish turns. Big tractor to use though. Did you ever get hung up? Your shed seemed to stand-up to being pulled and twisted on that slope. Nice video, thanks again! If I remember, I'll let ya know how it goes.
@mistymountainmiss2 жыл бұрын
Update.. shed moved successfully and is now housing chickens. No issues with twisting or bowing of the frame, just took it slow. Honestly, I'm super surprised how smooth it all went. The "worst" part was rutting out some spots in the grass, no biggie. Thanks again for the idea.
