This video is really helpful and timely as this is exactly what I've been going through with my channel. Too many things that we could be really passionate to talk about. Thank you so much Think Media Team and Chalene. May God bless you all

Holy F that is exactly where I am in my life. Where I feel I have to use my personal brand to spread the spiritual truths. Even if it doesn’t make money. And for all the money stuff, there are niched businesses. And things. THANKS YOU GUYS! Love from Singapore, Zephyr

I’m in the food niche. Chalene Johnson gave powerful tips on knowing the level of your channel, and when to niche down.

Fantastic interview! Thank you for reminding me about the book "The One Thing" by Gary Keller. I have it in my Audible Library and am listening to it again this week.

I lived sound and learned benefits from it. Show name It is under my name but it is about putting sound with a vision now. I am on my own with this, no help. I appreciate all of you. What is the best advice you can give me working a full time job???

I think "finding a niche" may be on the way to becoming obsolete. Even if you chose the perfect niche, you're not going to be able to compete with someone that has more passion and talent. The lower the barrier to entry to KZbin, the more competition there is and as a result the more likely more authentic channels will be created. Seems the me we are trending to creators that are celebrities or celebrity like getting the most traction.

Hello Chalene and Sean, i do post tutorials and podcasts on my channel, do i need to separate the two (like create a different channel for the podcast) or should I continue uploading on one channel? Because I am struggling with views a lot! Pleased advice.

This is exactly where I am at with my brand. Chalene was speaking my language on this one. I'm in the process of a big pivot away from fitness.

So... How do u determine where the gap / opportunities are? Most would advise to run away from fitness & marketing as way oversaturated, no opportunities left.

I normally LOVE Think Media content, but "How do you pick a niche" "Just pick one" is very frustrating for someone trying to pick a niche.
@CoconutPete2 жыл бұрын
the secret is you pretty much have to pick a topic you are already passionate about anyway. Because there is so much competition out there, the best of the best will have the most success. So, as a result you will likely do the best by picking a topic you are most passionate about. If you pick a niche based mainly on profit potential it will ultimately fail as someone else that does have more passion/experience will likely make better content and end up performing better. But, you also have to be a little realistic to make sure there's a market out there. But then again, on KZbin anything is possible. Back in the 90's I would have laughed if someone told me... in the future kids that play video games will be multimillionaires 🤣

I tried to niche down, and it reduced my views, like I was getting 10.000+ views before and After niching down, my views dropped to under 500 views per shorts. So I dont recommend it, because it really affects you mentally, unless you have the dedication and Patience for it. I think just do, whatever works for your Channel.
