phew! well, slipped detached chain is officially the most complicated stitch I've tried so far! I'm doing a version of the glasses case tutorial, so not helped that the instructions call to do them side to side and upside down so to speak, compared to the video - haha! If you're like me and looking for that one specifically, it's at 10'15 in the video. thanks for explaining this so very clearly Ariane

@ArianeZurcher2123 жыл бұрын
HI Kifah, I'm not sure what white bird you are referring to. There's a white bird that is part of the ribbon pattern, but it's a ribbon and not something I designed or made. There's a wonderful ribbon company you can check out if you're interested, Renaissance Ribbons: renaissanceribbons.com

I watch your videos over and over. So much information it’s hard to absorb it all. But not a fan of the “ fast forward” ! Oh well ! Non the less I’m a huge fan. I have sues book also and it’s finally making sense!!thanks to you💕

Just skip past the fast forwards. I worry that it will become tedious for people to watch. I could just edit them out, but then some people say they like them... Thanks for hanging in there with me, despite them!

I love your videos!!! They are so helpful and I have learned so much. Would you please show us how you did that darling bear that was by the tree filled with chain stitches. What kind of thread did you use for above the eyes. So Very Darling! I have been watching your videos every morning with my coffee! Great way to start the day. Please keep them coming. Thanks
@ArianeZurcher2124 жыл бұрын
Hi Susan! I'm so glad you are enjoying these, it makes it all the more worthwhile knowing others like watching them! When you say the bear, do you mean the dog that is to the right of the tree or the squirrel to the left? I did smile when I read your question as I thought - a bear works, but which one!?
@susangeiser28944 жыл бұрын
@@ArianeZurcher212 I was thrilled that you answered my e-mail. The little animal (I love bears, so I want to make it a bear) was on the right hand side of the tree with all the chain stitches, It was 2:57 minutes into the Non Traditional Chain Stitch video. I love the way you did the eyes. I don't know what that thread is that is so fluffy above the eyes, or what stitch you used to get it to look that way. I would love it if you could show us how to do it. Sincerely, Susan
@ArianeZurcher2124 жыл бұрын
Susan Geiser ah, yes! The dog!! But he could be a bear... anyway his eyes are tiny little black 2-hole buttons that I stitched down with #8wt Eleganza thread and the did a Backstitch around the buttons in the same thread. His eyebrows were turkey work done in a Silken Pearl ! Then using a ninja brush fluffed up a bit. See my turkey work video to see how that’s done if you haven’t already! ❤️
