Thanks! Much more coming later this month/early in May, but we've got a few gear review videos coming up first.

I found some of the Lords and Laddies in my wild garlic today. I need to be more careful when picking thank you.

That was very useful and to the point. Thanks, I was unaware of the chance of easy misidentification.

Also don’t rely entirely on the smell. If you have been picking wild garlic the smell will be on your fingers so if you pick lords and ladies or bluebells you may still smell the garlic on your fingers.

Some great advice. I had no idea bluebells were a protected species! One of the farmers in the area used to have a field full of bluebells but recently ploughed them all up. I wonder if he got permission.

I have no idea what you're talking about - unless you mean the midrib on 'Ramps', Allium tricoccum?

Like the late, great Terry Pratchett said "All fungi are edible. Some fungi are only edible once."

Thankfully my wild garlic doesn't look like this, it has long leaves like chives. It's an invasive weed on my property.

Yours is a different species I suspect

It's not wild garlic, it's three cornered leek
@susanp1022 жыл бұрын
@@homosexualpanic What does 3 cornered mean? The leaves or the bulb? My bulbs are nice and round like a marble.
@mangoman10962 жыл бұрын
@@susanp102 I don’t think it’s a leek, I have the same type you are talking about and it’s really good and completely edible, they have long, circular, hollow leaves full of liquid.
