I quit , and I am so happy! Partnering is a devil in disguise. I dance solo and am so much happier.

Hello Alexey ! I really appreciate your videos cause they're so constructive. Actually, I didn't have the chance to do a dancer career as I followed my studies. I'm 25 now, doing a PhD and I'm making fascinating progress in ballroom dancing. I wish one day have a KZbin channel about this like you do cause I was facing hurdles, but I won't give up cause dancing is a therapy for me. Dancing is an art and we can express things through moves better than words sometimes. Big thanks👏

Well said Adeline. And I was told that it is not a chance it is a choice. You are still young and you have many more choices. I hope we also we all made the best choice which suit us. Good Luck and all the best. :)

Hi Alexey. This video has absolutely resonated with me. Your way of describing this journey has helped me immensely. I’m learning ballroom and Latin at 52 and it’s completely new to me. It feels very uncomfortable at times. I have subscribed because I’ve watched a few of your videos and you break the steps/actions down in a way that makes sense. Keep doing this PLEASE. Sue

You’re so right about not having enough time during private lessons to talk about the journey. I have tried to connect with my teacher via Instagram with so so success. He still asks me what I want out of dance in-person, so I think everybody (teacher/student) is different in the way they communicate with each other. It’s still very early in my journey and still getting to know my teacher. Maybe he feels he can’t connect with me either…after 8 weeks of taking private lessons, he still had doubts that I was enjoying my lessons and it’s bizarre because I have shown so much enthusiasm and joy. :( Maybe I need a new teacher???
