Omgggg I would trust only this stylist . Because my hair is Mongolian thick . Last time this lady made so many layers because of my thickness . And after I dry my hair it looks like Xmas tree 🌲. I like smooth hair , such a great trick to take of some thickness under and not show in a top layer . Gonna wait until it grows back to get a good haircut, going to show this to the stylist

No, you have damaged hair, that needs to be cut off and another half a year to grow. I've been there couple of times in my life. Please don't use textured scissors so close to the roots. There are other harmless ways take of weight of the hair.

So I'm currently in cosmetology school, and in school they teach us to do horizontal sections for a square one length Bob. Can you tell us why you take the sections diagonally. I've been taught to do my sections diagonally when we're doing a triangular shape Bob. Thanks
