Thank you, I bought viper mini few days ago. Mouse is good but it feels too light to me. My previous mouse had almost 90 grams, this one is 30 grams lighter. Tbh I did not expected that. I have small round neodymium magnets 12x6 mm. Can I put 3 or 4 of those magnets inside the mouse to increase its weight to at least about 80 grams? If you could give your opinion? Thanks.

​@@oldi184 imo light mice are better, that's why the trend has been towards light mice and hand control. the past 4 years or so. i know this is an old comment but it is relevant. you could probably put something heavy inside the casing and tape or hotglue it in. i am not sure why you though the 'mini' would weigh that much tho..... i have smol hands so i bought the mini for that reason i would just be careful about weight distribution and how the center of gravty may change since it will be a janky solution, but it would probably work, yeah

The new patent of hot-swappable switches for example like plugging a device into a wall outlet. (Thanks. Asus.) The contact pins should sandwich together if fit perfectly and worry free about any issues on the market. Maybe oxygen free ones? Same thing as it goes on mechanical keyboard switches too. Pins are very fragile and could break if shocked. Luckily they've made an optical switches to solve the issue of travel and clicking issues thus I don't know if any market would go beyond on this...

hobby. warranties cover almost every issue. though they have become much more strict about them over the past 2 years or so since we were hard abusing them. I got 2 free g pro wirelesses just saying mine were busted and they don't ask for a broken mouse back, i think they do now though I started doing it because I wanted a lighter mouse for competitive shooters, not val or csgo, OW mainly, where much faster sens is used on even the csgo-like heroes. also, to clean your godam mouse, it gets GROSS in there was not expecting how bad mine was

Do you think its possible to "unglue" the glued parts without damaging the mouse, and reassembling it the same way (possibly glueing it back) ? I've had issues removing them while painting the mouse. So i had to leave everything in and tape everything off quite tidiously. The Result was also not the Best because of it and im thinking about redoing it. I'd be glad if you'd help me on this one. I've not tried as im sure you will need to alter the firmware if say you swapped the sensor. I've loads of videos though replacing switches, encoders etc if that is what you want

have you tried taking the mouse apart and putting it back together? it sounds like the lens hasn't been seated correctly. If you have then your only option will be to stick it in place with tape or glue without affecting the lens.

Hi, i don't have much experience with mouses. I own both Model O version, MM711, and Viper mini. I prefer the shape and build quality of the Viper mini, but I have used it for over a month and I still find the mouse feet to be too slippery. Would you know if they actually are, or is this some kinda placebo effect? I assume people prefer the feet to be as "fast" as possible, but I just can't get used to them. All third party feet for the Viper mini seems to advertise for speed, so I assume they are just as fast if not faster than the stock ones.

Wow and i was just browsing on the net what the LoD on viper mini is about. Not sure i encounter the lift off distance issue, but so far the most glaring thing to me was when doing sprays on csgo, there is a little bit of jitter when i try to control the recoil.

If u want a good feeling copy don't take it apart it will ruin ur travel on mb1 and 2 and may intoduce some sticking because razer used glue in some points in some batches which will result into weird clicks

wear some headphones :-p.... you can open it but whether you can sort the creaks is another issue as its more to do with the fit of the shell... you can lube the edge of the shell but I personally wouldn't

sounds like the button is a little close to the switch. you could try loosening off the screw closest to that.

@@maral04 Unfortunately not. I learnt to live with it. Whenever I want to click mmb I just use more force. It's not comfortable but I still haven't got a new mouse after an year. Seems it's a common issue with this mouse. That's why I can't recommend it to anyone.

@@jessierabino822 Mine is in warranty right now. Usually dust is a major problem. Did you try clicking the button repeatedly many times for a few mins? Also, try to use blower directly on it. It's so sad that such a good mouse is ruined by cheap switches on scroll button.

@@jessierabino822 np. Btw, if you don't mind, could you share the S/N number of your mouse. Partially. The number should start with PM20XX sth. Could you say what that number is? 20 = Year 2020. And the other 2 numbers are week number of that year. So, if the mouse was created on the last week of 2020, it'd be 2052. 52nd, being last week in the year.

hi, i opened my rvm in the attempt to fix my loose mouse5 button, turns out it just fell off, is there any way i could fix it without replacing it?
