FULL BEAST MODE. What a Versatile tractor, front 3 point/pto. So many options for implements. That triple mower looks like the ticket, one motor and 30'. Plus horsepower to burn. Firmly, my heart bleeds John Deere green, but that New Holland is hot. And if some people don't like all the buttons, switches and computers, it is 1968 anymore.

Hey Ryan!!! Great video, awesome demonstration!!! I have to agree, 30 ft swath on a conture is overkill, but it did show the versatility of the tractor and mower, and how the GPS is able to control the tractor!! I thought you were doing a great job as far as the demo, you explained what you were doing, why your doing it, and possible mistakes you màke during your learning the opperation of the equipment!!! then when done doing an overview of what you like and dislike of the machine... I thought it was impressive the way you stated "you really wanted to hate the machine, but was very fair in your assessment of the opperation of the equipment!!! Great video, hope to see more soon!!!!

Nice video Ryan! No bias BS, and definitely no know-it-all attitude. You covered the learning curve quickly. I do think the advantage of the triple mower is having the tractor for other uses versus a one trick pony. Nice review.

I wish I had one of those. JEEZZ three mowers would be nice. I still run a 1456 with a decent sized disk mower.
@onelonleyfarmer8 жыл бұрын
i demoed one of these in 2007 or 8 can't remember the end cost to buy at that time was 259000.00 john deere 7930 and Kuhn 30 ft mowers.. it was under powered and it was a pig on fuel. plus in dry hay it was a fight to keep the rad. clean in alfalfa or clover and second cut grass i think it was ok not great just ok. on the corners i had to steer the mowers around with a little joystick on the control box if i didn't it would leave strips in the field of uncut hay.thats when i decided to get the windrower..
@Washpenrebel8 жыл бұрын
onelonleyfarmer the new holland is same as a Case IH Optum 300, i think is the model. The trick to all the buttons are the colours. YELLOW is for PTO, ie PTO speed, front and back. ORANGE is for engine/transmission, forward/reverse faster/slower engine speed ect. Black is for hydraulic. Doesn't matter what brand tractor you buy the controls will have these colours.
@Washpenrebel8 жыл бұрын
The 30ft mower is an animal to knock grass. This is what we use in Ireland where we grow the heaviest crops in the world. The only machines more popular are the self propelled Krone Big M which are getting more popular each year that goes by. A lot grass machinery sold globally was tested in Ireland. If it works in Ireland it will work anywhere in the world. All the John Deere, Class, Krone, Kuhn, Vicon machines are sent here to be tested before they are released for sale. Case and new holland Don't sell grass machinery in Europe.

@keithbrettell20588 жыл бұрын
How? Why? All he's doin' is cuttin' the hay down(mowing) so that it can be baled. This unit is cutting 3 times the volume he is currently with his '235' at one time.
@datbomb988 жыл бұрын
not really 3 times and OLF has lots of hilly and curved fields i have a tripple mower and they suck on small hilly fields but they are great for the big fields that i have a swather is a much better option for him these are also bad around fence rows because they stick out so much if you watch OLF he has explained multiple times why he would not like to use a tripple mower

@woutvandenbossche60048 жыл бұрын
Fendt is in fact sold in the US. They're part of AGCO, so you'd have to go to an AGCO dealer to get a Fendt. As far as I know, AGCO dealers in US are not as rare as you might think. Fendt are some great tractors though.

How Farms Work EEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW! You've got to cut a lot of hay to justify a machine like that. I'm glad you had the opportunity to demo it. Someone like Onelonleyfarmer being a big hay producer would even have a hard time justifying it. But who knows Wes might surprise us. :)
@Rob_Moilanen8 жыл бұрын
In Wes's case, I think he's mentioned using a similar setup in the past with one of his John Deere's and Kuhn mowers, and decided that Windrowers were much better for what he does, which is why his newest machine was a JD Windrower.
