Hello people, 2020 NOTICE. Do not exceed much 1.32V (load voltage) on your 3000 series CPUs, since you may have degradation depending on the load you are putting them into. Thanks for watching :D

@@AncientGameplays Well, I achieved a 1.35 for 4.3ghz and the temps were around 77-78 degres on a overnight OCCT benchmark. That said, my BIOS was up to date but the chipset drivers weren't ; so I did that. I revert back to full auto with Game Boost mode activated, since I get now 4.25ghz, 1.35v and 75-78 degres. I red that putting a fixed voltage will reduce the lifespan of the processor. My results in Cinebench R20 are : 3853 for multicore 495 for single core Almost the same results but peace of mind I guess. It seems that mobos drivers are now working as intended. Maybe those processors came out too fast and manufacturers had hard times to make this run. Still struggling a bit to find the good graphic set-up for DCS World but that game is poorly optimized for now ... Thank you very much though !

I followed this, despite having previously owned a 1600 and overclocking it to 3.9 @1.35V, but I forgot all the changes I made so I needed this. I'm currently clocked @4.2GHz @1.325V, I can probably clock even higher since I have an Nzxt Kraken x62 and that's a fairly low voltage for 4.2GHz.

@@AncientGameplays I get that but does it mean it will keep the voltage and frequency also in idle? Now I have a 3600 with a wraith prism cooler and decided to keep everything on stock but I'm kind of unhappy with the voltage my board is giving to the cpu so I would like to understand this architecture better, but to be honest it's kind of difficult :D thanks for the video btw., I appreciate the time you gave in to explain :)

Well, as for the first part, if you play cs go mostly i would definitely change the CPU first and overclock both Cpu and Gpu. I'm wondering why your CPU , SoC and RAM voltages are so high compared to mine. Did I just hit the silicone lottery or what? (Also, I've tested slightly higher voltages for everything and it doens't imrpove perfomance on benchmarks.) Thanks in advance if you reply :D

Hey, and thanks! As for your question, i really doubt you are having 4.3GHz with only 1.27v if you have a non-x 3600. What is probable is that when the load kicks in the voltage ramps up in order to be stable. As for the soc, well, it also depends on your timings and mostly sub-timings (same for RAM voltage), but i did manage to decrease my soc voltage to 1.10-1.13v

Alright, so I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and what I did was overclock it to 4ghz with a voltage of 1.15 to vcore. It runs more stable and cool, I only have a stock cooler. It passed a plethora of testing. Now I'm messing with the XMP settings, your video seemed helpful to an extent, however, coming back to it, after doing a ton of research and digging around., That the XMP profile cannot just be set to the frequency of the RAM, it must also comply with the frequency limit of the motherboard I have 3000 mhz ram, I wanted to OC it to 3000 but can't cuz my MoBo will only be able to do that if I am using two sticks. I have 4 8 GB sticks, I'm not home at the moment I'm at work, assuming they are all Single Rank ram (pain in the ass to find out tbh but I will when I get home) my max clock for my RAM can only be 2933mhz, doesn't matter what stick I have or my MoBo won't like it. Now if it's dual rank, I can only clock it at 2667 mhz, which is ironically what my MoBo is setting the ram frequency to by default. Do you have any further advice for me on my quest? My CPU don't get past 75 degrees in prime 95 I ran it for 8 hours no fails. But when I ran memtest with the 3000mhz profile I got a single error on test 4
