Is cash really king? No. Cash is garbage! Inflation eats it. It takes eight times the money to buy the same product or service today as it did in 1960. You need to invest your money to have it be worth anything. Cash does no good in your bank. Here’s what to do with your cash:
1. Invest in yourself to increase your income
2. Invest in your business to increase your income
3. Invest in real assets that produce cash flow

The printing of money faster than the increase in goods and services represented by the money supply leads to an increase in prices and decrease in value of each dollar in circulation. This is another reason why working for a set hourly rate will never make you rich, neither will saving cash, traditional approaches to money by the majority are wrong.

Don't trust the government reported inflation figures of around 2.5%. Understand that the lower inflation figures they report, the less they have to pay out in benefits. Calculate your own rate of inflation! How does the basket of goods and services you bought last year compare to what it costs this year? This is a critical number for every investor to know. If you aren't beating inflation with your investments, you're losing the game of money.

Real talk - I’m down with your model, but I want to know what happens to you’re money if the market crashes and the real estate values plummet. Wouldn’t you be on the hook for the debt? Could you address your risk strategies for us? I wanna know if there’s any calamity that could take you personally down. Thanks!

I agree with buying assets, or building businesses that produce cash flow. However, even though I believe precious metals are a fairly good investment they don't produce cash flow. I would say buying gold or other metals is better than keeping cash in a savings account, but I can think of many things to invest money in that would produce a much better ROI than holding onto gold for years. If your goal is just to preserve wealth then precious metals are a great option, but not so much for increasing wealth.

Disagree !!! Cash is worth a lot. Cash is tangible and its a physical object. Keep circulating currency. If money goes electronically, a higher authority can delete your bank account with a touch of a button. Look what happened to the truckers in Canada. The prime minister in Canada froze the truckers money accounts.

Better production facilities world wide, especially in developing countries in places like India and south east Asia. It was cheaper for companies in the western world and first world countries to build their production companies abroad in developing countries along with the cheap labour there and then ship the goods back to the west. Also, there was not global communications infrastructure back in 1992 (internet) Back then the best form of global communication between companies was fax machines. Edit: There was an internet back in 1992 but it was exclusive for the US military and UN/NATO allies, not for public use.

Newer electronics are always expensive at first , until companies manufacturing a lot more of the products. At the same time streamlining the production of the electronic to a point were it's a lot cheaper than before. Ex : PS3 2009 - $500 PS3 - 2018 - around$200
