I’m not exaggerating when I say I have never once received an unscathed record shipped in one of those square mailers. ALWAYS corner damage. They’re not cheap enough to justify the risk of damage in transit. ‘The best record mailer’ protects corners and no instruction on how to pack a record is required because you just tape the box shut with no extra pieces, and it’s done. Even the most postal postal workers will have a hard time damaging a record in one of those. W hiplash mailers are great too but I feel like they’re made for shipping more than one record.

Interesting. I've never had a single complaint in over 3 years for shipping records in this way. I've only received one damaged record in one of these mailers from a vendor that didn't put bubble wrap in the box. I guess I'm lucky! I will check out the other shipping mailers that you mentioned. Thanks!
