First of all, Molly's with you... her happy place, prayers for her comfort. She ended up being the reason you came upon the lovely village and learned a bit of history about this artist. I just love cottage paintings, puzzles too😄 This was done so beautifully... with the soft music... sat back while you inspired and gave life to his drawing. Haven't painted yet... have most supplies... my first one will be a few flowers and my Blue Door!!! Take care and thank you so much Paul... hugs to Molly🌺🌴

Hi Paul. Sad times with Molly but I hope she is up and about soon. I have a bit of a routine now with your tutorials. Wednesdays I watch the video from start to the end. Making a few notes like colours etc. Saturday morning I watch the beginning again ,mix out the colours print the template. I then get the drawing done ( and line in this one ) Have some lunch then paint and smile ( and curse!) in the afternoon Thank you. X

To watch the picture grow underlaid by this beautiful music, plus the story of the creation of this picture, which tells of becoming and passing away, is beautiful, meditative and a little melancholy. I don't want to only paint an English Country Cottage. I want to live there-at last part of the year. Oh no, your Dalmation! We've always had dogs and branched out to cats, then my daughter brought home lovely rats and she could have all of them out on and around her in the same room,! She was a fur-Momma if ever there was one. She died from Cancer fairly recently and was a wonderful artist. I am trying hard to get ack into it myself-so far I have a lot of favorite videos and info-but I cannot Do it. She was prolific. Beautiful spirit and beautiful inside and out. Best, Terri

@@ArtbyPaulClark Oh Lordy, I just before this wrote something about you and your wife-how funny you are together in the skits. I am so very sorry indeed! I mean no harm and I am hoping and guessing you understand that. But I hope it does not sting to read what I wrote! As my darling girl said, "Cancer sucks." She also said, "Everything causes cancer." when I was referring to this or that to be careful of. Remarkable, these brave and much loved ones. She never once complained and faced everything with a very calm demeanor-which was completely real- inwardly as well as outwardly. Everyone is different. I just heard Jeff Bridges say, "It just makes you more of who you are." I know that to be absolutely true and agree with him. It was that way with my girl. Blessings and good nature for healing and great friends and art therapy--you know what you need. I still don't know what I need but it hasn't been 7 years. Which is like a lifetime in one night sometimes. Gotta go. T.

I bought your book for beginners though I don't see myself as a beginner, when I get stuck and don't know where to next, I open my Paul bible. I've commented on various artists' KZbin that I can't draw and only put in the most important ones and then paint it correctly. Needless to say,🤣 most were flabbergasted.
