Hi Scott, all of my exterior doors open outwards - should the sides, top, & bottom also be painted with the same paint as the face of the door? Where in the sequence of painting the door should these be done? Thanks!

Why didn't you use the Cobra heater paint remover?

Didn't need to strip it all down, just needed a sanding to smooth it out. Plus I prefer my new IR Paint Stripper now. Much cheaper and does the same thing. IRPaintStripper.com

They work great! I'm a big fan and use them often and probably would have used it here except that I wanted to show folks how to get that same smooth finish with a brush.

Great video! Just wondering....this must have taken more than a day to finish. How did you secure your front door opening while you were painting?

I covered the door with a drop cloth while painting then hung the door at night when it was dry enough with just the deadbolt on for security.

Good job leveling out the old brush marks! Too bad the enamel didn't level out better. Maybe thin your paint a bit for better leveling.
