Paul, watching you work is a wonderful educational experience, but the tone of your voice, the background music, chirping birds…., it’s like being in a “painting spa.” Truly an immersive experience watching you. Of course your paintings are of the highest quality as well. Thank you for sharing your gifts.

Paul it always amazes me how your paintings usually go through a rough stage and look wonderful when they are finished. I started painting last year at 79 years old but found it so difficult. one thing that you do that makes it much easier for people like me is the line drawing that you give us. I have realised from your paintings that we have to keep going and it may in my case look reasonable for a beginner. So my thanks to you. please keep them coming.

Thanks for the demo Paul. I'm new to watercolor. Only been painting for about a year. I'm rarely satisfied with my efforts. Now realize after watching this video that an obvious mistake I've been making is the lack of soft edges. The way I've been painting is more akin to colouring book art. Big mistake. Will definitely give this demo a try. Thank you ever so much Paul. Cheers from Toronto Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

Paul, I love to watch how the mixture of different colors of pigments seem to be one color but when the paint dries its lighter than when first applied.

Thank you! Cheers! Yes all watercolours will dry at least 15% lighter.

Greetings and good evening Paul from down under Melbourne, Australia. Really enjoy watching your tutorials. Once again a beautiful watercolour - sadly too late tonight for me to try my hand at painting this little bridge but I'll "have a go" tomorrow. Cheers🍻
