😮😮😮Man, I painted my as a Helghast and I went to my local shop and there was someone calling out my Guardsmen and 3 Valkyrie. Still Love the Krieg

This is really similar to my current Krieg scheme with Castellean Green, if you want a different wash to use try the militarum green contrast paint

I prefer to make their green really pastel. Like a shade more pastel than death guard green. Then I go in with agrax earth shade to make the coats look worn and dirty, then I dry brush on the first color in the morning laces that the light is going to appear from, and finally I do an edge highlight with a slightly whiter version of the main color. They end up looking amazing.

Not really - but use some of that streaking grime over it to get the effect and you should be golden - loads of vids out about it 👍🏻

Would have stopped at straken myself. the nurgling green is a tad too bright for me. especially when it's supposed to be kinda a drag woolen looking WWI style coat

Love the video! Quick question though, i have never seen anyone pain the 19th or 261st regiments. Could you do that?

@@ThePaintingCoach if you look up “death korps if krieg 19th seige regiment” on Google, a picture of krieg regiments containing the 19th, 5th, 143rd, 261st, and 158th regiments should show up. Sorry, I’m not too good with colors.

i love your serie of short videos "how to paint..." ^^ i have a little wish : i begin my new thousand sons army and i want paint them with hermetic blade colors. i spend lot of time to find an easy way to do the armor's color but i fail :-( Do you have an idea to do the hermetic blade armor? for the rest, i use your thousand sons turorial ;-)

Thanks - you could try aethermatoc blue over grey seer or corax white - try it on a spare part...

@@ThePaintingCoach i already tried on grey seer and corax white with one coat and it was bad (it's... droled). I will try with your method ==> 1:1 first coat and 6:1 second coat with contrast medium

Give it a shot - the other option is baharroth blue, shaded with thinned talasar blue

I don't have plans to do any more Krieg yet - swap the colours from this tutorial for Abaddon Black, Mechanicus Grey and Administratum Grey - then use agrax thinned to tone down the brighter highlights - hope that helps

This always looks a little too painterly for my taste I do things similar but then dry brush twice and increasingly bright saturated after the wash

I use a mix of Citadel, Redgrass Games and then W&N Series 7 for detail work

Depends what you want to spend really - the citadel brushes are pretty good as a work horse - I use a whole range though - the citadel fill the gap in sizes of the redgrass games
