Red leather just gives off evil sorcerer vibes in my opinion! Definitely on my list for when I move in to a castle 😂

I didn’t really care for the “Sandstone effect” with the yellow. I think Skeleton Horde would have been a better choice for that. And the fire 🔥 was too black and muddy. But, overall it’s nice and playable

Glad you like the overall work, this series has been a real experiment for me, I’ve never really used contrast paints before, especially not in this volume so it’s been really interesting to see how they work, learnt a lot from it both good and bad.

Is there a reason why you don't paint large sections first and then paint the smaller details? For instance, painting the wheel part of the torture table and then painting the rings and chains?

In this case it’s because of the use of contrast paint, I find if you get metal alloys on top of contrast it’s hard to clean off or cover up due to how contrast paints work so I did the metallic areas first.
