Girl! That looks great! Both inside and outside Canva! Shellac sticks to everything, and everything else sticks to shellac...that's the key.

Thanks Charlene! For sure! Actually I am testing out Wise Owl enamel and it’s not playing nicely with shellac. I even used dewaxed shellac 🤦‍♀️

Thank you for the video! After the first layer of color, did I see you scuff sand the surface again? If so, will it damage the paint?

Yes, I always scuff sand after the first coat. It’s a high grit (220 or 320) and it just enough to knock back any texture before you apply a second coat. If you don’t sand it will be a gritty mess after the second coat. It won’t damage the paint, just smooth out the rough areas. You won’t sand after your final coat. Some people wet sand, but I don’t usually find that necessary.

Good question! I’ve not tested it on cabinets, but I can say it dries much harder than Sherwin Williams Emerald Trim Enamel or Ben Moore Advance. I was impressed!
