1:45 - you'll get better strips if you do very thin edge lines with very thined down paint and then when you are happy with those lines you go back in and fill them in. This way you'll easily be able to correct any mistakes. If you go the way you did it, you are far more likely to end up with bulging lines that get thicker in the middle or at one end. Another way to get a better result is to use masking tape and masking fluid to get very straight lines. If you paint your base colour over the masking tape before doing the yellow, you shouldn't get any yellow leaking under the tape. Or you can get transfer printer paper and print a whole page of yellow and black stripes, ready for you to cut out and slap on.

I usually do that but my averland sunset I just bought at GW was all clumpy and watery 😭😭😭! I spent 30 minutes trying to fix it and when I painted it on, it went watery and clumpy and I ended up just painting the whole thing 😅! Thanks for the advice!! 😁

One does not simply paint a miniature without priming it first. I used mechanicum standard Grey. Since I typically let you guys decide the mini I'm going to paint it's easier to use a standard primer that works well with most colors than 10 rattle cans 😅

I got the idea from one of my comments on another video. I tried a couple of browns and dry bark was the most earth tone brown. It was also fun to do and faster than waiting for a wash to dry! 😁

Yeah Averland is hot garbage! When I do yellows, I go from a pale brown or (wait for it) PINK base...it helps with the transparency issues yellows have! 😊

I am struggling to come up with a nice colour scheme for Chaos Legionaries which on top of that wasn't done to death already. (Nothing works with yellow for my taste, absolutely everyone else is red and/or black already, etc.) So I thought: "Nuka Kitten usually has stuff that looks good, I should look there." While I didn't find anything to steal on your channel, this one here just looks fantastic. Absolute champion of the metallic metal (of steel) fraction which I'm very partial to.
