The thing about painting some of the darker tones before you go on with the bright ones, is an excellent tip 👍👌 Thank you so much for posting your videos ❤

I just want to say,I ordered your 5 piece set of brushes from Rosemary Co. I absolutely love them. I find that compared to other smaller brushes, they have a very nice fine point and hold more paint than my others. Wonderful brushes.

Hi you have a very beautiful and original painting♥️♥️
Enjoyed watching your video as always. I'm supposing that's Fern and she was getting close to making her debut? It's so good to see you so happy. I'm looking forward to trying a cardinal for a Christmas card prep for Christmas in July. I just have to play the mantra in my head a few times but I am so grateful for the years in your school. I just finished the first page of my giant X stitch and only 23 to go I think? lol. I'm helping a son via our Ipads, long distance, to finish an old oil painting he had going and he's doing remarkably well, surprising us both! He's nearly finished and I've yet to finish a childhood portrait I've had sketched of him forever. Every time I walk past it, my imagination starts painting what I can't find time for yet. I've got characters from the OZ book he's reading, climbing out of the back cover as he is gazing off in space as he was reading it. It makes me giggle every time. Hope you are loving being a mother and still getting to paint.

I can’t believe what I am seeing! How did the white flower emerge? and from where? I’ll try but I’m sure the flowers will be entirely green or grey! Thanks.
@kathrynspencer89473 жыл бұрын
Hi Anna- love your work. I just painted a white and yellow rose and had trouble on what shade of grey to use for the shadows. Do you use a Payne’s straight from the tube? Or do you mix a grey with complementary colors? I tried to make my grey from purple and yellow and it separated on me. Any tips? Thank you!
@NatureStudioTV3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kathryn! I tend to avoid Payne's Grey for shadows on yellow subjects, as it has a blue tint and it can create an unwanted green effect. Davy's Grey is what I'd use. I suggest keeping the paint mix watery, and testing in the darkest areas first :-)
