Great job. I need to get some of that glaze, I tried with Cassandora Yellow and Lahmian Medium but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. Will give your technique a try when I get back to painting Space Marines.

Thanks! Citadel really do have some great paints but it's just knowing when to use which one can be confusing.

BlackJack Legacy Now that Citadel have discontinued their glazes how would you suggest making a Lamenters Yellow substitute (also Bloodletter, Guilleman Blue, and Waywatcher Green) Thanks.

Looks great and nice and simple for getting an army out: will definitely be giving it a go. Always found yellow a pain so looking forward to trying it!

Another helpful vid: love the precision... But nice to see you having to go back and correct a few stray brush strokes - methinks that's one of my big worries: attention to detail. Everything is telling me its an easy fix if you go wrong, but... Grrr! Eek!
@BlackJackLegacy5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I thought I'd leave that in to show that I make mistakes too and they're easy to correct.

On a serious note. I noticed you went back to using a paint pot to hold your model. How come?

Just because the GW grippers get in the way when painting the rim of the base. I do it last and always stick it to a cork to do the last stage.
