Great instructions. Just spent an hour trying to open a lock similar to first one in the video. Watched several videos here, used paper clip, credit card and a wire hanger to no avail. I gave up. Decided to watch other videos, hoping one would help. Yours did. The keyword was to keep the clip in the center. Before I was moving all around but didn't manage to hit anything. Thanks!!!.. it was useful!! Just thought I could add the problem that i had when i tried to open. I did not have smaller screw driver to unlock the door for second type of lock. To unlock you can simply remove the screws of the lock assembly using a knife or any sharp object and once removed the handle then turn the entire lock stick to opposite side of the of the locked portion. hope this helps!!!

Just wanted to say thanks so much for this video. In a one room apartment with a push lock interior for the bedroom and a turn lock for the bathroom. Your guide worked amazingly, though for the turn lock in the bathroom the knob has a keyhole that accepts no key, and so we needed to use a flathead to turn and unlock it. But still, amazing help, and thanks again!

I took the silver metal part off of one of those black clips and it worked for me. I was struggling for a while because I was searching too far in the back, the button on the inside is actually pretty close to the hole.
