Love the apps your using. In Etsy I like to look at the successful shops that sell similar items and scroll to the bottom of the listing to look at their tags. Gives me great suggestions.

Bro!! Thank you so much for this. The crazy thing was when you said you used to do electrical in construction and switched to this full time….I am currently in my 4th year of doing electrical and though I like the work, the commute and toll on the body is so tough. I am super encouraged and inspired now to dive deeper into the Etsy game and really get serious with it. Thank you for that! God bless you man. I look forward to getting to know you. Keep up the amazing work!

Most of my orders are for wedding cakes so WEDDINGS is a sector that I am already very familiar with. I am keen to see how I can expand on that via esty. I also do resin art like coasters etc so this is really useful, Thank you so much.

What is considered a 'low competition'? Under 10k listings?
@_Tennz Жыл бұрын
Thank you, btw, for your awesome videos. I've watched some over and over again.
@brandontimothy Жыл бұрын
It's all relative to how much demand there are. If there's 50k searches and only 10k listings, then it's considered low. If theres 500 searches and 10k listings, then it's high. Hope that makes sense!

Promoting externally is always beneficial to your Etsy shop, but identifying if the effort is worth the ROI is what I would think about depending on your product niche

Hi Brandon, Thank you for the great videos and well-done for the structured contect! 👌Quick question: I've just subscribed for eRank Pro version, and it seems the "Etsy Competition" column, along with some other columns (e.g: Goodle Searches) disappeared. Nah, there are sellers from Europe with good sales rate worldwide. My friend has physical produkt Store and within first month she had buyers from USA and Australia (products are around 250-350$ per pcs), I see the same with digital products. I setup my country (central Europe area) and USA English as shop language, so I don't know how shop with etsy auto translation works.

Just an observation,having watched many videos by you and others...re checking listings for seo info. Specically looking at how many sales a listing has done. Everyone comments on how many sales some listings make... Ex: 10,000+ per month. *I* have checked listings and it seems to me the number of sales listed are how many sales the *shop* had...for their shop overall. Not necessarilly the single item you/we are checking.

I just opened a new Etsy shop a couple of days ago, niche is "cozy vibes slow living" "line art and quotes". It's not going too well yet, but I'm hopeful! :D It's Nochi Designs. Man, it's hard to get seen!! Are digital products starting to oversaturate on Etsy? I'm wondering if there is more supply than demand at this point. I used eRank for keyword search but I've been so confused by it, I don't think I can utilize that tool to its potential.
@learnwithcawl4103 Жыл бұрын
I'll say your mockups are top notch I really dig em. I think you have a great start, saturated is how I feel about alot of Niches on Etsy, you also have star sellers they are usually top of the page no matter what so the competition for a non star seller is real and infuriating even if you have a superior product noone will know because star sellers are prioritized. This is where seo and standing out in mock ups comes into play. You have 2 types of sellers the good mockups and the fast thrown together very cheap no effort mock ups and some in between. You seems to have the mockups down to a science. One thing I noted was your titles, although long and full of keywords are kinda messy. Usually the big sellers use keyphrases followed by a "," comma for keeping it not only clean and tidy but seo algorithm friendly. Try using an SEO like Erank or Everbee and try looking for popular keywords/phrases that fit each of your listings. Sort them nicely, try to have what it is within the first few words of the title followed by a comma per se. In the video he uses Everbee, it has a free version it's nice. Make sure it makes sense. Let's say Rabbit Line Art SVG, Cozy Seasonal Clipart, Cute Hare PNG So on and so forth until filled, same with tags study top seller tags in your niche and make them count and I think once you're found you'll take off.
@learnwithcawl4103 Жыл бұрын
Also a trick some big users do is slightly overpriced there art and put it on sale to their original price. Ooo a deal better get it now! Also the amount of items helps and Etsy will tell you how people found you sometimes by keywords used. So think about that and if you aren't getting alot of views try changing out a few keywords every so often to keep up with the times. Also implement your materials tabs. You can put svg, png, pdf, digital art etc. and it'll count and won't take up keywords if need be
@kl73312 жыл бұрын
